Discovered this place by accident while in town to fish. The Bar/Restaurant was great and the rooms were very nice...a great surprise! I would recommend the Ramsdell to anyone who wants a unique and great hotel experience.
Great rooms and right on River Street and they have a bar downstairs too!
Recommend the suite 4E, and dinner at TJ's followed by a walk beside the river.
Attended a small party in the lobby of the hotel (15 people) and it was a fantastic venue. It was an old First National Bank with a vault, reception as the bank transaction area and an awesome Victorian round window seating area. Great place for a small party with friendly attentive staff. Highly recommended.
This was a great place to stay the weekend. The hotel was beautiful and we'll maintained. Staff was friendly and the location is great.
