Staff at the hotel are always curious and helpful. The decor is aging, but it is a nice place to stay. The price is right. I've never had an issue and stay here at least once a year. I've never used the pool, so I don't know how nice it is. WiFi is important to me and the connection is fast.
Quiet place. Was clean enough. No frills but good location if you're planning on going to Manistee to start an M-22 tour
The Days Inn was available when we needed it, but really is not someplace you'd want to stay at if you had any othet options.
The hotel is outdated except for the lobby. The carpet, walls, counters, have holes and chips in them. $190 with tax are you kidding me! No refrigerator or microwave either. This is a room with two queen beds. Oh and the sink is in the living room. We will never stay here again! The only thing is it looks clean so far.
Breakfast area has been nicely remodeled to contemporary standards. The rest of this motel is virtually untouched since it's construction in the late 70's, save for a fresh coat of paint.
We got 2 rooms. Both were a little musty smelling, along with some kind of deodorizer, which was pretty strong. Other than that had 2 queens in each room. Beds and pillows were ok. Mattress could be updated. The configuration of the toilet and shower were off to us, but clean. Breakfast was included, which had the usual items. The rooms could be updated and therefor, we thought the price was a little high. This hotel is also pet friendly, we were told there were only 2 in town.
