Visit the Vogue; you won't be disappointed.
On this trip, we attended a Wed. morning classis movie, complete with a classic movie mini-talk about the film, director and cast. And the $2 admission for the classic movie was very reasonable.
Beautiful restoration! They are only big enough to show 2 movies, but they are always new releases. And the matinees are fun for all. Great experience!
Rarely crowded outside of “blockbuster” opening nights, both auditoriums fully restored, clean, comfortable seating, great 21st century projection and sound (maybe action movies are too intense in the smaller ~40 seat theater), extremely fair prices for tickets and concessions. $1 bottled water, for example. Volunteer staff helps keep costs low. No 3D surcharges for those types of shows. Offers online ticket sales and movie memberships. Street parking but there are city lots close by. Multiplex movie experience for a fraction of the price.

Beautifully restored historic theater in downtown Manistee, MI. Staffed by helpful, happy, knowledgeable volunteers (mostly, I think). While I have visited the Vogue several times throughout the years, this is my first visit since it's most recent refurbishment. Every detail far exceeded my expectations. Well done!
Nice and clea theatre, with comfortable seats and friendly staff and volunteers. Very reasonable prices for the snacks as well.
