Went there for lunch today and the food was great and the service was wonderful—especially considering this is their opening weekend. The building is redone beautifully and very large—can accommodate large parties. The beers are awesome. Take the time to experience the whole menu—we tried three appetizers and they were all very good. The menu is Tex-mex with a great variety. So nice to have a full service brewery and restaurant in downtown Manistee.
Love this new restaurant! We're excited it's finally open. The appetizers were delicious and so was the burger. The wait staff was on top of things even though they were really busy. From the cool decor to the reasonably priced meals, North Channel is definitely a great addition to Manistee.

Fish tacos are fish on tortillas with some lacking watermelon salsa and no sauce or slaw. Meatloaf isn't dry, but not for lack of cooking. The burnt exterior yields a well done meatloaf with no character. Fries are over seasoned with salt.... and I love salt. Generally underwhelming.
Festive brewery around Christmas... Lights and what not. Plenty of parking across the street. Very open and spacious inside. The beer selection is nicely varied. One of the better places to go in Manistee!! Caveats? The double IPA was gone when we went. No substitutes available. Our server also seemed a bit lacking in knowledge of the brews, not realizing our flights had a few out of order. Overall I'm really happy with this place. They're brand new! Keep the beer flowing, and hopefully some awesome staff will end up working here.
